Our Values
Our Principles, and our Purpose
Our work is dedicated to God. He wants us to serve and uplift our fellow human beings, and so that is the primary purpose of our work at Links Labs - to help people everywhere rise up and improve themselves, by providing them with better tools for their work, and better tools for working together with each other. We need each other; we need to be able to work and play, learn and laugh, together.

We know that it is unusual for a scientific or a corporate environment to bring religion or beliefs into their discussions and their work, but we recognize the importance of beliefs, or at least morals and ethics, for all of our happiness, and so we want to foster an environment which does not inhibit that part of ourselves, and which encourages mutual respect and care in all things most important to us.

To these ends, we uphold principles common among many religious belief systems. We set for ourselves these high moral, ethical, and interpersonal standards, to name just a few, and insist upon their importance and their practice in our workplace and in our goals:

-
Love, Charity, Kindness, Care, Service, Respect
-
Honesty, Integrity, Transparency
-
Connection, Collaboration, Communication
-
Faith, Belief, Positivity, Hope
-
Family
-
Humility, Repentance, Restitution
-
Agency, Freedom, Knowledge, Teaching

You may notice that for many of these concepts, the terms used in the religious world may differ from those used in the work world, but we have listed them both together.

We believe that Links is an inspired work, as are many other technical or scientific projects out there. So, how could we not give credit where credit is due? God's hand is in this work, as it is in many others. We are blessed with ideas, and the faculties and the help to bring them to fruition. You might be surprised how many scientists and technologists have strong beliefs; do not assume that this will bias or compromise our work. We hope instead that you will respect our beliefs, sustain our values, and perhaps even join in helping us build a faith-based technological community.
